Craig DuBose
I have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University. I have experience in C++, VHDL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Solidity, and various libraries and tools associated with those languages. I also have more general technical knowledge of computer networks, encryption, and consensus algorithms.
My primary professional interest is in developing decentralized applications (i.e. blockchain-based applications). Before the pandemic, I ran the Sligo Blockchain/Dapps Development, Learning, Networking meetup.com group. I am a committee member with the National Standards Authority of Ireland for NSAI/TC 2/SC 16 Blockchain and electronic distributed ledger technologies and a registered blockchain expert with the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business.
Outside of technical work, I enjoy playing football, tag rugby, and chess. I also am a fan of history books and podcasts. My wife, Aine, my daughter, Maeve, my son, Sam, and I live in the Calry area.
